The Blind Eye

The Blind Eye…

As we all go about living our day to day lives some of us will choose to close one eye (so to speak) and squint while viewing the world at large.

Realize that in choosing to close one eye, it only hinders one’s depth perception for the breadth and width of the world’s wonderment.

The Curriculum of Circumstance…

In doing so, we proportionally loose that portion of our sight that allows us a greater appreciation for the existence of our three dimensional world’s imagery.

In the juggling acts that we all engage everyday in our lives, therein “lies” the chance to engage the curriculum of circumstance or keep knowledgeable debates held at a distance.

Even in Plato’s works, he describes the culpability in our intellect as; “the effect of education (παιδεία) and the lack of it on our nature“.

Observational Awareness…

In the employment of principles and the adherence to ethical and moral practices, we can develop greater observational awareness for something as subtle as the smallest of lines embedded upon a person’s face.

These breadcrumbs that may appear along the path in life might otherwise go silent while peering at a stranger’s Spoken Face but, even the fainest of these lines are all exposed to us for good reason.

Thus in doing so, I invite my readership to a wider eyed view that may otherwise have remained closed.

Purchasing The Sixth Sense…

We can embrace our many intuitive opportunities to truly touch, feel and smell the scents of living a life or we can just turn up our noses and apply a different appreciation for our five senses.

Unfortunately, if we never make good use of these five, we will never be invited to receive The Gift of the sixth!

Our decisions to live life to it’s fullest or to hold, coddle and defend the limits of our perceptions will be our defining moments.

For some, life can be very much like performing a tight-wire balancing act, and this can be where one’s self discovery places them at the best vantage point for viewing who is being represented.

For others,…they may never join the circus…hum?

As The World Spins…

I can appreciate that right about here, at this paragraph, in this verbose dissertation that some may very well be spinning from such a view of the world.

In any case, the motion of the world’s revolutions are all taking place simultaneously for each of us and in the added thrust of propulsion that we each individually contribute, the perpetuation of a refined meaning for the world evolves.

Thus we each add to the “commotion” in our titled pride of ownership for that of having a little dirt in the game.

No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

John Donne 1572/1631 BC

The Stance…

I’ve chosen to plant firm footing during my balancing act in this life by way of taking “freeze frames” during momentary motionlessness of the commotion in my views of the spinning world…hum?

It is my opinion that only in those impending moments, those pivoting “teeters” in the arrival at life’s RSVP appointments, that we may acquire the sixth sense of a soulful intuitiveness.

It is from these sixth sense engagements that we can become exposed to our vulnerabilities and exposed to the cross examination of our internal dialog.

It is in the domain of “thyself” that all the answers to one’s questions reside and from “thy” invitation of the divinity, wisdom can emanate from the silenced whisper of a knowledgeable psyche when humility is acknowledged to that higher authority;

I am wiser than this man, for neither of us appears to know anything great and good; but he fancies he knows something, although he knows nothing; whereas I, as I do not know anything, so I do not fancy I do. In this trifling particular, then, I appear to be wiser than he, because I do not fancy I know what I do not know.

Socrates 470/469 BC

Our Free Choice

If we never seek a referenced bearing while traversing on life’s highway, then the labyrinth of avenues in our free choices will fail to offer us the greater possibility for arriving at our final destination!

For it is in the results of our many choices and decisions that we choose to weave a distinguishable pattern between rewards and consequences, repulsion, embracing, rejection and inclusion of others, from which we formulate meaning for our individuality.

Proven in Life…

The result, is what becomes our testimony for our proven life and this testimonial will be what authenticates the weight of our soul’s unique character.

Ah…yes the soul! Some may choose to discount the validity of such existence but, please realize that in doing so it requires keeping one eye very tightly closed!

Thus allowing us to separate ourselves from taking complete responsibility for that choice and rendering verdict in that decision, so that we may cease any further debate.

You see in some cases, we can even issue ourselves a reprieve for making the lesser choice in the limits for a concessional world’s reality.

We can choose to discount the meaning for greater possibilities and we can exchange a more secure reality in lieu of viewing the broader range of colors in a 3-D world.

We might just refuse to think outside The Box!

This is especially true when we have told ourselves that we’ve got it all figured out and that we own the truth in all the answers we affix to our convictions!

As obvious as such a narcissistic compulsion might appear with both eyes open, some of us will give liberty to the corruption of a one eyed view, placing an “all-in” bet upon such delusional animations.

The Chosen Theorem

In demonstrating the general principle for what makes atheism a larger theory than Theism, it comes down to purely making a choice to believe or not believe!

These are actually in the same field of view as comparative religion, theologically speaking.

An atheistic point of view is a belief in something, it’s just not going to have anything to do with the humility that goes with recognizing a higher authority, above one’s self.

Thus in making the choice to refuse subordination to at least one deity as a higher authority, one makes the “free choice” to remain free by appointing themselves as supreme commandeer over thyself.

In anchoring such a form of core belief into the scrutiny of an atheistic perspective for one’s chosen theorem, realize that the hypocrite of such exclusivity invalidates one theology (the belief in nothing) over another with the same hypotheses, which is merely based upon a self predicated theorem.

After all, even Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity frames in it’s reference to that of space and time being relative, rather than absolute concepts. Thus in doing so it is assumed that the theoretical equations and computations are “truthful”.

It still comes down to “choosing” one over another because this theory has still never been proven.

In planting the seeds for the possibilities into the fields of life, what can be harvested from less seeds or infertile soil?

In the shallow rooting of such convictions, some may discover that they have only sown the seeds of contempt for God’s loving example, while poisoning the well.
